BT's engineers have clearly been taking inspiration from late night sessions on the office Wii and come up with this prototype for a future product – a motion-sensing add-on for laptops.Built with the same sort of innards that lets a Wii remote know which way it's being twisted, it's designed to slip into tablet machines and UMPCs for use as a keyboard or mouse alternative – much like the T-Mobile Ameo's VueFLO feature. So tilting the laptop could move the cursor around, or a vigorous shake could minimise all windows and show the desktop.BT's got the disabled or elderly in mind but the Wii-like gaming potential is obvious. Our immediate application thoughts? Virtual Etch-A-Sketch. Wunderbar!
