Those ingenious Germans have a new reason for their smug superiority. As well as living in a country where trains run on time and everything is engineered to perfection, they can now send Google Maps destinations direct to their shiny new BMWs.

So rather than scribbling an address down on the back of a biermatte and entering it manually, they can simply look up business listings online and then beam the info to their BMW Assist-enabled in-dash navigation systems.

Sadly it seems to only be for our highly efficient European cousins for now but it can't be long before the service is rolled out to us all. Check out the link below for a video of how it works.
