We're used to 30, 40 and even 100in tellies (we're still waiting for that last one to arrive at the Stuff offices, LG) but few carry the resolution needed to make them worthy PC displays. The exception is Dell's stupendous 30-inch gaming rig that displays a whopping 2560x1600pixels.Now the PC maker’s upped the ante and given the catchy 3007WFP two additional letters - HC. In return it gets a faster response time, down to a satisfyingly nippy 8ms. In too goes a Wide Cold-Cathode Fluorescent Lighting backlight which promises to give richer and more dynamic colours. The hi-def busting resolution is matched only by 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display, which costs £300 more than the current Dell. There's no price yet on this one but expect that difference to be eroded.Dell US has it arriving some time this year but the UK arm tells us it's 'not yet on our radar'. Looks like we'll have to settle for the original 14ms version for now.
