Most phones can tell you that it’s coffee-time. They’ve got a clock.
But in 2009, be prepared for self-aware gadgetry that knows what sort of coffee you drink at a particular time and where to get it. Increasing integration of services like Google Local Search, as already seen in the T-Mobile G1 and iPhone will combine with historical data to learn what you search for and when.
Then, it’s a simple case of using GPS to work out where to get it, taking into account where you need to be next according to your calendar. Next we just need it to pay for it and deliver it for us and we’ll be happy. Maybe in 2010.
