We’ve had our eyes on this one since it reared its pretty head back in March.

Well, now BenQ’s HDMI-equipped monitor – the first in the world – has finally got a price and on-sale date in the UK. Naturally, the thing’s fully hi-def, with a PS3– and Sky HD–friendly 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Gamers will observe and respect the 8ms response time – good, albeit hardly top of the class – while the rest of us will note with interest the two handy USB ports. It also comes equipped with old-fashioned DVI and VGA sockets.
