Asda selling 8in tablet for £99
Pop the Arnova 8 Android tablet next to your groceries for under a ton

Asda is selling the cheapest tablet we’ve seen. The £99 Arnova 8 is an 8-inch Wi-Fi model that comes with 4GB memory and a micro SDHC expansion slot, and – most impressively – a huge 25-hour battery life. That’s probably due to the lack of processing power required to keep the dated Android 2.1 Éclair OS ticking over. You’ll still be able to watch video, read ebooks, play music and enjoy the internet – just all at a sensible pace.
