Archos G10xs Android tablet teased on Facebook

French-made media tablet shown for first time ahead of a full launch later this month

Archos has shown off its forthcoming G10xs tablet for the first time, posting an angled photo on its Facebook page.

The photo doesn’t reveal too much of the Android tablet, although the company promises that the device will get a full announcement within the next three weeks. It’s thought that the G10xs will be a mere 7.6mm thick, making it slightly skinnier than the new iPad.

The model is set to replace the 10.1-inch Archos G9 Turbo, which we reviewed back in February – and hopefully will feature the sort of top notch screen needed to provide a true rival to the iPad.
