Apple Store down – is Mountain Lion ready to pounce?

We were told that the next OS X update would get a July launch, and that seems to be happening right now!

The Apple Store is down! The Apple Store is down! Words sure to send a shiver of excitement through any lover of the shiny things that come out of Cupertino.

But today it could be software and not hardware that gets added to Apple’s online emporium. You see, back at WWDC last month we were told that Mountain Lion, the next update for Mac OS X, would be released in July. And wouldn’t you know it, it’s July.

We’ll keep you posted on the status of the Apple Store, but one little thing we noticed: the “We’ll be back” notice is now rendered in a variety of international languages. Super exciting, we're sure you’ll agree!
