Apple reports 3 million new iPad 3 sales since launch

The Cupertino tech giant shows off its strongest iPad opening yet, with more launches on the way in 24 other countries

One of Apple's Senior VPs, Philip Schiller has reported that 3 million new iPad 3s have been sold since its March 16th launch date last Friday, reportedly making it the most successful iPad launch to date.

Currently available in ten countries, we expect the new iPad 3's sales numbers to get a further boost once it goes on sale in 24 other countries from March 23rd.
