So it took more than an hour but Apple finally announced something to make us sit up and say 'oooh' over at WWDC.
MobileMe is a direct replacement for Apple's .Mac service, which completely syncs your iPhone and Mac or PC automatically over the air and through a new site called Me.com. It'll give you total control over your mail, contacts, calendar and gallery apps.
No matter where you add new content – be it a snap from your iPhone, a meeting on your iMac or a new contact on your laptop – it'll be added to all devices straight away.
It also integrates the iDisk feature (a remotely accessible hard drive) and allows you to send stuff to your mates directly through the app.
Sounds like we could finally be about to get ourselves organised.
