While O2 and Apple’s networks crumpled under the pressure of gadget fiends gagging for the iPhone 3G last week, it’s easy to forget that MobileMe had it’s own set of major teething problems.Today, Apple has issued an official statement saying, “We want to apologize to our loyal customers and express our appreciation for their patience by giving all current subscribers an automatic 30-day extension to their MobileMe subscription free of charge.”MobileMe ran into difficulties almost as soon as it went live, with users unable to access certain web apps and finding that changes made on a Mac or PC were taking up to 15 minutes to sync. Apple says this is down to a misunderstanding of their use of the word “push," saying it applied to changes made on the iPhone 3G, not your computer. Alrighty then.How’s MobileMe working for you?
