Angry Birds Retina Display comes to iOS

The latest update on the prang poultry is HD graphics and a daily power-up offering

Angry Birds has matured to version 2.2, available as a free update on iOS today, and it’s bringing with it Retina resolution graphics.

The peed-off poultry are storming the beaches in this update, called Surf and Turf, that comes with 15 new levels and a host of power-ups. In fact Rovio is promising a new power-up available everyday. With Birdquake to shake the pigs off their battlements, or Sling Scope for a better aim, and King Sling for super-powered firing, this is looking great and you can get it right now on your iPad or iPhone at Retina Display-loving high resolution.

Android is promised the update soon – ideal for the high-resolution display on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
