Talking at the launch of the eco-friendly Samsung Reclaim phone in the US, Samsung product manager Casey Ryan said that Android phones with touchscreens and full web browsers will be coming down to pocket-friendly prices, although it wasn't clear if this would be on contract or pay as you go.
Samsung isn't alone with this idea of affordable Android – we've already spied pictures of the HTC Click, HTC's attempt a low-end Android handset.
It certainly seems viable that phone manufacturers may well begin releasing low-end smartphones for those users that don't need all the functionality of the Hero or the iPhone, for example.
