Android-based HTC Fiesta – coming soon?
The HTC Magic may not have been released yet, but it seems HTC isn't resting on its laurels, and has already filed details of a brand-spanking Android
We already know that the company is planning on releasing “at least” three new Android phones in 2009, and it seems the HTC Fiesta could well be the third – following on from the Magic and the soon-to-land HTC Hero.
Engadget got the scoop from a tipster who spied the submission to SIG, but other than listing the phone for availablity in Asia, Europe and North America, the entry had no hints as to what we can expect from the handset (apart from Bluetooth, obviously).
Considering the G1 was listed as the Kila, and the Magic was the Sapphire, we’d say it’s safe to suggest that the Fiesta won’t actually come to market under that moniker.
