Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich coming to the Samsung Galaxy range

November 17 is the release date being banded about the rumour mill. Can’t wait

The notoriously leaky Samsung Italy has let slip that the latest Android 4.0 build, Ice Cream Sandwich, will be released to the Samsung Galaxy range on November 17.

Ice Cream Sandwich will be making its first appearance on that day as the Galaxy Nexus is released – so presumably Google thought, why not share the love?

Expect the new super OS to be available on – deep breath – the Galaxy S 2, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7 and 7.0 Plus. We’re excited about a unified platform bringing tablets and mobiles together at last, so expect a full review after release, but before then enjoy our Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich guide.
