Looks like Skype's gone and slipped into something more comfortable. While we were fawning over the combined DECT and broadband powers of RTX's Dualphone and Philips’ snappily titled VOIP841, Amex has gone and given its wireless and VoIP combo a touchy feely keypad.Granted, it's not quite the touchscreen of the Apple iPhone, but the svelte digits will respond to your every caress with no tiresome press needed. The screen isn't colour either but we'll forgive its pixelated monotone appearance just because it's so sleek and shiny.Like the RTX and Philips efforts it'll make and receive calls in both Skype and PTSN (that's plain old BT landline to you or us) via a DECT base unit tethered to your router like a dog outside a supermarket. No price details yet, but then when could you ever put a price on beauty?
