Amazon outs Kindle Fire 2 and Kindle Paperwhite early
TV ad shows off Android tablet and front-lit e-reader in advance of launch
Amazon’s gearing up to show off its new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire 2, but it looks like it can’t contain its excitement.
A teaser commercial showing the new tablet and e-reader aired during Wednesday’s Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants game, promising “something new.” Not new to anyone who’s seen the earlier leaked images, admittedly – but it’s nice to have them confirmed from the horse’s mouth.
Of course, Amazon may yet have a surprise hidden up its sleeve for today’s event – as well as the Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire 2, there are rumours that a Kindle Phone may be unveiled at the event. Whatever surprises Amazon springs, we’ll keep you posted with the latest news.
