Amazon Kindle phone incoming?

Amazon is reportedly working on a 4.7in smartphone, according to industry supply chain sources.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard whisperings of a Kindle phone and the rumours suggest that Amazon will be shifting the presumably Android-based unit for as low as US$100-US$200.

The release date of the Kindle phone – and any specs beyond that 4.7in screen – are still a mystery – although the phone’s reportedly facing delays due to manufacturing problems at the Foxconn factory in China. We’ll be sure to keep you updated when we find out more.
