As the first dedicated mobile shopping app from Amazon in the UK, users will be able to get the vast majority of what they can get from the computer site on their phone on the go.
This means you'll be able to search for products, read reviews, add things to your basket and buy them using Amazon's 1-Click ordering.
You'll also be able to access your wishlist, read your personalised recommendations and track purchases as they wing their way to you.
However, the best part of the new app is the Amazon Remembers feature that allows iPhone users to snap pictures of products they want when they are out an about, upload them to the app and have Amazon search out the product (or similar products) on the site, allowing you to do a price comparison on the go.
The pictures will be stored on your Amazon account, both on your phone and your computer, so you can view them later and remember what you were lusting after during your shopping spree.
The app is free for iPhone and iPod touch from the Apple App Store, and we've already got hands on with the app to see if it lives up to expectations. Head over to the blog now to see what we thought, and if you've given it a go, let us know what you think below.
