Amazon Coyote and Hollywood tablets edge closer to launch
The much anticipated and secretive colour tablets from Amazon have just revealed some potentially juicy specs
Amazon’s colour tablet is like a child hiding behind its hands. Amazon doesn’t think we know it’s there, but it’s so… obvious. So far, we’ve a pair of colour tablets codenamed Coyote (7in) and Hollywood (9 or 10in), expected in October. New leaks indicate Hydis Fringe Field Fixing LCD displays made by E Ink, which already makes the Kindle’s monochrome display. We’re also expecting quad-core Kal-El Tegra 3 innards and an October release. Don’t be shy, Amazon. Come out of hiding and spill your technicolour beans.
