Amazon Android Appstore now (unofficially) live in the UK
The online retail giant’s app store goes global
Amazon’s Appstore has been available for Android users across the pond for quite a while now and it would appear that the rest of the world is now able to join in on the fun.
Users in the UK, India, Australia and other European countries have reported successful installations of the Appstore and have already taken advantage of the free daily Android App policy.
According to Android Police, Amazon has responded by stating it has “…not announced any plans for international expansion”, possibly hinting at the release being unintentional.
We can confirm that the Appstore is installable on our Android devices, so if you fancy getting some app goodness down your phone’s eagerly awaiting gullet, head on over to Amazon to get your download on right now.
