Just a couple of weeks back, word reached Stuff Towers that Activision's mighty DJ Hero would be costing a respectable $119 (£73) for both the game and the bizarre turntable peripheral.
However, that relatively cheap deal won't be making its way to the shores of the UK. Eurogamer has been told by retailer ShopTo that Activision has slapped a huge £108 sticker on DJ Hero for us Brits. That's $177!
Fortunately, ShopTo has said it'll be selling the bundle for £94.85. But that's still way over the odds for a game and a plastic add–on.
DJ Hero scored plenty of headlines when DJ Shadow showed it off to gamers and geeks at E3 in LA last month. The new game lets you scratch and mix classic tunes, as well as mash up tracks against another player with a guitar.
The game's set to hit in October. But at that price, will you be willing to stump up and make like a latter day Pete Tong in your bedsit? Let us know in the comments section.
