That little p on the end stands for, er, 'multi-touch', in some language, we're sure, because the new model gets just that. The 11.6in screen gets a swivel-hinge boost for twisting into tablet mode and will support multi-touch gestures.
That means Windows 7, which in turn means we won't see this mini tablet cum giant iPhone until late this month at the earliest.
Acer hasn't been forthcoming with any official specs, but word is the inside will be a carbon copy of the well-specced 1810T. So that's a hi-res 1366x768 display, a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor, and HD video capable graphics. We'll keep an eye open for release date and price details.
