Noticeably absent is Wi-fi connectivity which is a bit of a shame, and from the info we've been given it's also unclear if the F900 will come packing a handy 3.5mm jack. Fingers crossed the latter pulls through.
The handset will come pre-installed with Google's mobile services such as Search and Maps, and YouTube will be included as well as one of F900's one-touch web applications. There is also a location solution that will let you see where you are and get directions, without the use of GPS.
The F900 has been priced up at £429 SIM free – we're currently chasing Acer for a release date.
From the other Acer smartphones, it seems doubtful we'll see this offered through any operators, so you may well have to fork out the cash if you want to get your hands on it.
We'll keep you updated.
