Vying for Garmin's iC3 place as our favourite low-cost sat-nav is this little number from the AA.Like the Garmin, it's a pocketable little device, but unlike its bargain brother it likes its screen to be caressed thanks to touch sensitive menus. We're not sure why you'd need it but it also packs in a photo viewer and MP3 player for good measure. The point-of-interest info comes direct from the AA's database including ratings for hotels, restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions. Speed camera locations are also on board, though you'll have to pay a hefty £100 for a three year subscription if you want to rely on them once the first six months is up - ouch.Don't expect traffic info or celebrity voices either at this price - but you can choose between male or female. Bag one on the AA website from today or in the shops from early next year.
