Due to land in October, the Korean phone makers’ first 8 megapixel blower is a full touchscreen affair, a la the best–selling Viewty. With a Xenon flash, face tracking, smile shot and blink detection, you can bet it’ll give the Sony Ericsson C905 and Samsung i8510 a real run for their money in the run up to Christmas.
Like the Viewty, you get killer video features too, with shooting up to 120fps, with DivX and Xvid supported straight out of the box.
They’re not skimping in other areas though. There’s HSDPA, Wi–Fi and even Dolby Mobile. Apparently this brings “powerful bass” to the phone – just what the scallies on the morning bus need, obviously.
There’s no price as yet, but expect to come in cheap when you sign up for a contract. Keep your eyes on Stuff.tv for a full unboxing and hands–on video soon. And if you can’t wait, check out LG’s new netbook in this week’s vidcast.
