High Definition Dance Festival June 18-19

This Ilford, Essex-based fest promises over 100 acts bringing "pumping" tunes with "banging" basslines to 15,000 wide-eyed ravers. The first ever camping dance festival in the Southeast, highlights include Boy George, Dave Pearce, the Scratch Perverts and Baby D.

Glastonbury June 22-26

Hard Rock Calling June 24-26

If you're into middle of the road rock this Hyde Park-based festival is the one for you. Featuring Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, The Killers, Ray Davies, Kaiser Chiefs and Stevie Nicks, it won't give you a single shred of street cred – but you'll be able to sing along to plenty of well-loved rock numbers.

The Eden Sessions June 23-July 10

The Eden Project plays host to a bunch of great bands over period of a little over two weeks, kicking off with Primal Scream and The Horrors on June 23. Later acts are Pendulum, The Flaming Lips, Fleet Foxes and Brandon Flowers, all performing in front of the project's biomes.
