Our dedicated team in the Department for iPhone Rumour Scrutiny has been busy pouring over an endless stream of dubious 3G iPhone 'spy shots' and launch dates. While most appear to be dross, one nugget of information has sent them scurrying into the newsroom clutching a piece of paper and shouting incoherently.
After wrestling them to the ground and prizing the crumpled piece of A4 from their grasp it transpires there is something worth losing bladder control about. It seems a memo's been circulated to AT&T staff in the States telling them to forget about taking any holiday between 15 June and 12 July.
While AT&T's summer staffing plans don't normally get us excited, the memo, leaked to Engadget, bears a striking resemblance to one sent out before the original Jesus phone's launch last year.
The note mentions "an exciting Summer Promotional Launch", which either means At&T has got itself into the rocketry business or the 3G iPhone is coming next month. Surely Apple won't keep us guessing much longer?
