When the robo revolution is complete, the only chore you'll have to do is visit IKEA at the weekend. For now, content yourself with the prospect of never having to mop a floor again. iRobot, the US outfit that created the cheapo robovac Roomba, has just unveiled a "revolutionary new hard floor cleaning system." We call it a Roomba that mops. They call it the Scooba, which - in fairness - is a catchier brand name. Details are a little scare beyond the fact that it'll look like the picture above and it'll wash, hoover and dry your floorboards in one sweep with a chemical gloop called Clorox.Yanks get a pop at this robomopster this autumn. We're likely to see it in January or February 2006.
