It's been known about for months, thanks to Acer being leakier than an industrial sized colander. The new machine packs the aforementioned 10in screen. with 1024x600 pixels, up to 2GB of RAM and a 160GB HDD.
You can add a 6 cell battery too, which may make it look bulky, but will give you a plentiful 7 hours of typing and web surfing time. And that's definitely not to be sniffed at.
Acer's keeping quiet on price, but with the 9in model starting at £199, you can bet the new version will start around the £250 mark. For more on the Aspire One, check out our hands–on video and full review.
