ZTE’s Axon phone is another 4GB monster

Could this be ZTE's flagship?

Finally, the Chinese mobile phone company ZTE has unveiled the Axon phone during a launch event in New York.

It looks like the phone offers high-end specs with a low price tag. The ability to play back high-resolution 32bit, 192KHz audio files is one of its strong features. This allows the phone to be able to capture loud or distant sounds in its video recordings. A pair of JBL E13 in-ear earphones are provided in the box to let you listen to the Hi-Fi audio when you preorder the phone. The phone is fitted with 32GB of internal storage, unfortunately it does not come with a microSD card slot, so there could be a problem of storage if you keep recording those videos and audios.

Another awesome feature of the phone is its dual lens setup on the back of the phone. This gives the phone the ability to capture bokeh effects. The main shooter is a 12MP sensor while the second camera directly above it is a 2MP sensor. As for the front camera, you have a 8MP selfie shooter.

The Axom is fitted with a 5.5”-inch 2,560 x 1,440res display encased in Gorilla Glass 3, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor running at 2.0Ghz and 4GB of RAM. Upon purchase of the phone you'll get membership to the Axon Passport 1.0 program which gives you 2 years warranty coverage, 1 year free shipping and a 30 day buyers remorse period. The Axom is currently on sale for US$450 on the company’s website and you can also order the phone via Amazon, Newegg and eBay.

As to colours, the phone comes in Phthalo Blue, Ion Gold, and Chromium Silver.
