ZTE just recently announced 3 new affordable variants of the V3. There is the ZTE V3 Youth, V3 Energy and V3 Extreme, all encased in aluminum bodies and will be fitted with a fingerprint sensor.
All three variants have very similar specs but just differ in the types of networks that they are able to support. The V3s are all powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage that supports microSD with a 3,000mAh battery.
The devices will also sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 13MP f/2.2 main shooter and a 5MP f/2.2 front shooter. The ZTE V3 family will be running on the Nubia 3.0 UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device only weighs 160g and is 8.55mm thick making it wide but light. The phone supports dual SIMs but the second slot doubles as a microSD card slot and the phones will support LTE.
The ZTE V3 Youth which is in silver will be priced at US$160 while the gold coloured V3 Energy will be retailed at US$210 and the gold V3 Extreme will be bundled with a few accessories and will be priced at US$240.
