When Xiaomi first started peddling its wares online in Malaysia, one of the most popular items had to be its 10,000mAh powerbank. The item is now being upgraded, with the new version on sale at 12PM tomorrow.
It proved popular as most of the powerbanks in the market with the same battery rating tended to be bulky and expensive; Xiaomi's attractive price point helped make its powerbanks quickly sell out in the early days.
The main difference in the new model is in the design - the new powerbank is now business-card sized, which will make it far easier to slip into a pocket or small bag. The price is RM59, the same as the price of the previous model that got a price hike just recently. Xiaomi claims that its powerbank has a 93 per cent conversion rate where its charging/discharging is concerned as well as nine layers of circuit chip protection.
Expect new products to be launched as well next week as Malaysia will have a big Xiaomi event happening and we'll be sure to keep you updated.
