After much teasing, the Xiaomi Watch Color has finally been launched in China, with the device officially gone on sale. Thanks to this, we now know more specs on what the smartwatch has to offer.
As mentioned before, the Xiaomi Watch Color comes in a circular design with a 1.39" AMOLED display and a 454 x 454 pixel resolution. The smartwatch will come with a wide array of interchangeable colourful straps for the device to fit you and your style, even offering two-toned straps if your style includes multiple colour combinations.
In terms of specs, the device will function similarly to the Mi Watch, with the MIUI for Watch being on top of the Wear OS, and will come with all the usual fitness tracking modes; GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC as well as heart-rate and sleep tracking. The device is also swim-proof up to 5 ATM and has 14 day battery life with typical use thanks to its 420mAh battery.
Unfortunately there's still no news on when the Xiaomi Watch Color will hit global market, let alone Malaysia. But on the bright side, when it does come to our shores (which we're pretty positive it will), it will be pretty affordable in comparison to the many smartwatches in the market as it's currently being sold in China for CNY799 (~MYR470), so we can expect the price to be around that range.
Now whether it will come with all the best parts of what the version in China has is another question that will remain unanswered for now.
