The Xiaomi Mi 4c is now official. With a 5-inch 1080p screen, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Adreno 418 GPU and 2GB of RAM, the 4c also comes in two variants - one with 16GB storage, the other with 32GB and more RAM (3GB).
As to the camera the rear camera has a 13MP sensor that supports phase detection, which Xiaomi claims can deliver 0.1ms-fast autofocus, while the front camera is 5MP. It's also a fairly light phone (132g) with a thickness of 7.8mm.
Xiaomi's fitted in a 4.4V 3080mAh battery so this should have fairly decent battery life. Other features: a Type-C port, built in infrared, and Xiaomi's Edge Tap - which lets you activate certain features with double or single-taps. It will ship with MIUI 6, but will be upgradeable to MIUI 7 soon. You'll get the option to choose between white, grey, pink, yellow and blue colour options.
Besides the phone, Xiaomi also announced it's going into the MVNO business with its own Mi Mobile prepaid offerings (China-based) and a Mi Bluetooth speaker that will retail for RMB199.
As for the Xiaomi Mi 4c, pricing is RM1299 for the16GB version and RMB1499 for the 32GB model.
