It's official: Xiaomi is launching three gaming laptops, making the Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 official. This was revealed during the ChinaJoy expo last weekend where specs for the laptop reveal a 9th Gen Intel Core CPU, GeForce RTX 2060, and 144Hz display all packed in.
The Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 comes with either Intel Core i7-9750H or Core i5-9300H and is also available with up to 16GB of RAM while it comes standard with a 512GB PCIe solid state drive for all variants.
This refreshed model comes with a 144Hz panel upgrade for its Full HD display which is also available for all three variants. Aside from the refreshed specifications, all three Mi Gaming Laptop still has the same physical design.
All the three models of the new Mi Gaming laptop 2019 come with dual-band WI-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x 3W speakers, Dolby Audio, and a 1MP HD webcam. All of them also include 4 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x Ethernet port, 1 x microphone port, 1 x headphone jack, 1 x HDMI output port, and a 3-in-1 card reader. They also come with a 4-colour LED-backlit keyboard with 3 different modes and include a glass touchpad with multiple gesture control.
In terms of graphics though, the GeForce RTX 2060 is exclusive only for the highest-tier Core i7 mode while the rest of the group receives GeForce GTX 1660 Ti.
The price of the Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 was also revealed to be USD$1080 (~MYR4500), while the Core i7 models are listed at CNY 8599 (~RM 5173) and CNY 8999 (~RM 5413) for the GTX 1660 Ti and RTX 2060 units respectively. No word yet on when it will officially arrive in Malaysia.
