Right off the heels of their release of the Mi 9T in Malaysia, Xiaomi is set to unveil a whole new line of smartphones globally. This new line has been identified as the Mi CC9 and CC9e, which has been teased by the company for having an impressive, dynamic selfie camera.
The new smartphone line unveiled today by Xiaomi co-founder, Lei Jun. He recently posted and confirmed the unveiling to take place in China, hopefully also revealing the release date and any other specs. According to numerous reports, the phone will run Android operating systems. For now, it seems that the phones will have a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, a water drop notch, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Mi CC9e is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 712 SoC and a 4,000mAh battery capable of 18W fast charging. The CC9e’s selfie camera will be at 32MP, while the back camera will house the triple camera setup with a 48MP main camera as well as wide and telephoto sensors.
The main Mi CC9 will differentiate itself by having an AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader and the Snapdragon 730 SoC processors. Camera-wise, the flip camera is expected to come with a 48MP main camera and additional telephoto and ultrawide modules.
We look forward to the unveiling of this new line of Xiaomi phones and will update the story as it progresses.
