Vivo Confirms The Nex 3 Will Have 90-Degrees “Waterfall” Screen

Closer and closer to the edge.

While Vivo may not be the most sought after or definitive smartphone company out there, they’ve certainly made their mark with affordable, stylish, and progressive smartphones. Their Nex line of phones have always been some of their best, with some of the best features Vivo can offer. The Nex 3 seems to be continuing that trend in a whole new way.

The original Vivo Nex was the first phone to have a pop-up selfie camera, and the Vivo Nex 2 had a Dual Screen. A few weeks ago, we covered the upcoming Vivo Nex 3 and its supposedly 100% screen to body ratio. Well, it’s almost a month and Vivo took it upon themselves to reveal and show off their new smartphone’s amazing screen.

Vivo took to the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, to show off a sketch of the Vivo Nex 3’s screen. Vivo is really honing on the phones 90-degrees edge and 100% screen-to-body ratio with the comparison of the screen to a waterfall. The same image also showed off the phone’s water drop screen as well as the 3 rear camera array, which seems to have taken inspiration from wristwatches.

So far, Vivo seems to be building the hype for their smartphone, but no specs or any other info has been released just yet. Hopefully, we’ll find out more of this smartphone soon.
