Vivo IQOO’s First Phone Will have Snapdragon 855, 12GB RAM, 44W Fast-Charging

Will this be another gaming smartphone?

After Vivo debuted their new sub-brand IQOO, recently, they have finally revealed an extensive list of specifications for their first unnamed phone, and judging from the beast specs that it will have plus the futuristic metropolis aesthetic and Ironman-esque character in their promotional material, this could very well be Vivo’s gaming line.

Besides going with the latest Snapdragon 855, which almost, if not all flagship phones in 2019 have plastered on, it also will be running on 12GB of RAM. It is clear that Vivo IQOO isn’t going to be entering the entry-level or mid-range market with this.

‘Big’ is the idea so it’s only fitting that the phone will have 256GB of storage and a 4,000mAh battery, charging through a USB Type-C. Another aspect of the phone is that it supports 44W fast-charging which blows by the fast-charging of competitors like Huawei and OnePlus with 40W and 30W.

Other details include ‘Super HDR’ which could be talking about either the camera or, more likely, the phone display. ‘4D’ was also mentioned, but it’s still unsure as to what that is referring to.
