There's A Tennis Game Easter Egg On Google; Here's How To Find It

If you have some free time, might as well!

Leave it to Google to leave some pretty interesting easter eggs unannounced. This time, Google has added a fun little tennis game hidden with certain search results pages in honour of the Wimbledon tennis tournament. So if you want to play this, better do it soon as Wimbledon is wrapping up this weekend!

So if you're keen to play, here's how to find it:

  • Do a Google search for Wimbledon scores
  • The purple box filled with results will appear on to top. Drag the navigation bar all the way, or just click on Mixed Doubles.
  • Right next to the Mixed Doubles, you'll see a tennis ball icon. Click on that and you're good to go!

Once it's loaded, it’s pretty much Pong minus the paddles. Move to serve, then try to get your player in front of the ball to rally it back and forth. As long as you successfully return the ball you will get a point. Once you miss a return, it’s game over.

You can play either on mobile or desktop, though obviously it's a lot easier to play on desktop. Happy playing! Though try not to play at work, unless you know some sneaky ways to do so.
