Just when we thought we could start to get excited for a 19 September iPhone 6 launch, Apple decides to toy with our feelings. As you’d have guessed by now, the flagship unveil will be delayed, according to MacRumors.
The source claimed that one of Apple’s senior store leaders let leak that the iPhone 6 could possibly arrive on 14 October as it’s an “immense day for Apple”. The person also added that that entire month will be a busy time for the company and its affiliated retail stores.
But the source also highlighted that Apple’s planning a media event for 16 September, a month ahead of the timeframe indicated by the retail employee.
Could this mean that Tim Cook’s going to satiate our burning desire to know what the iPhone 6 will entail in September and then roll it out in October? It could be a possibility.
So what's closer to the truth?
But then, Amazon recently let leak on its Japan site that the highly anticipated smartphone could be available for purchase on 30 September, so we wouldn’t advise you to get your hopes up high until an official media invite goes out.
As if the release date isn’t mind boggling enough, we’ve also got to deal with trying to figure out if we’re going to see just one iPhone 6, two variants in different sizes, or four of them – in two sizes and two makes.
Whatever the case may be, if you’re dying to get your hands on the iPhone 6 as soon as possible and if you’ve got loads of cash to splurge on a luxury version of it, you can pre-order Brikk’s 24-carat gold or platinum iPhone 6 units now.
