In a rather surprising teaser tweet, Telekom Malaysia tweeted an image that hints at having something to do with the iPhone 6s launch on Oct 16.
The image tweeted highlighted the date Oct 15 with the slogan, "Everything changes, a day earlier" which could easily be read as a direct reference to the iPhone 6s launch.
Of course, this is slightly surprising as Telekom Malaysia isn't in the habit of launching iPhone-tieups though it is closely associated with mobile operator Celcom. Telekom's mobile and international arm was spun off years ago into a separate company, now known as Axiata, with Celcom being a part of it.
This might be one reason why Celcom has shied away from putting its iPhone plans online and instead having its customers preorder the phone only from Blue Cube outlets.
Predictions? Telekom might be announcing new iPhone-friendly broadband plans or bundles and we'll be waiting to see what they are come Oct 15.
