Team Flash signs Malaysian Dota 2 team, partners with Nvidia and Orange eSports

This could be the road to global glory

Singapore-based esports team Team Flash announced it has signed a Malaysian five-man Dota 2 team for a one-year full time contract.

Exploring new frontiers

The new team will be moving into a 24/7 training and living headquarters and will be prepped to represent Malaysian in the Dota Pro Circuit and the International.

Team Flash’s new recruits have been doing well at state tournaments, recently winning the Selangor qualifier for the UMobile-endorsed Malaysia Esports League.

Three of the members — Tan ‘TrazaM’ Kai Soon Wang ‘Gy’ Kok Guan and Tan ‘jjz’ Jia Jun — were previously part of the team Reverse Heaven, which stacked up an impressive series of wins over the last eight months.

Completing the team are Yeong ‘Mercury’ Shi Jie, previously of team Genesis, and Kim ‘Unknown’ Jit Pin who was scouted by Team Flash. The team will be coached full-time by Joel ‘Xtinct’ Chan.

Team Flash has also signed partnerships with Nvidia as part of promotional efforts in both Singapore and Malaysia as well as local gaming network Orange eSports.
