Stranger Things Season 4 Confirmed; No Official Dates Revealed

Could this be the final season?

Of course we need season 4 of Stranger Things. The end of season 3 pretty much warrants it! But of course, in the land of entertainment, there's always the possibility of things not going our way so it's good to know that the series will get their next (and possibly final) season.

Netflix confirms this by releasing a 45-second video clip on the official Stranger Things YouTube channel, with nothing more than a caption of "We're not in Hawkins anymore". Based on the clip, we may be exploring the Upside Down a lot more this season.

The reason why it's possibly the last season is because in the past Ross Duffer, creator of the Stranger Things series, said he thinks Stranger Things will be a four-season show, telling Variety, “We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out.”

Of course, things are likely to change as there's been a lot of comments about not letting it be the final season. In response to this, the show’s executive producer Shawn Levy told Entertainment Weekly: “Hearts were heard breaking in Netflix headquarters when the Brothers made four seasons sound like an official end, and I was suddenly getting phone calls from our actors’ agents... the truth is we’re definitely going four seasons and there’s very much the possibility of a fifth. Beyond that, it becomes I think very unlikely.”

So we have hope that we may get up to a fifth season, but we will have to see how they handle season 4 first. No official premier date or further information has been released, but here's to being hopeful! You can watch all three seasons on Netflix currently.
