Sony's just opened pre-registration for two new, as yet unreleased phones: the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact and the Xperia T2 Ultra.
No preorders as yet, but register your email and you'll be the first to know about news and possible promos or bundles.
New phones, new accessories
The Z1 Compact is the 'mini' equivalent to other manufacturers' downsized models of flagship phones while the T2 Ultra sounds as big as its name with a six-inch frame and a 13-megapixel camera.
But the T2 Ultra might be gunning for the more entry-level market, seeing as it only has 8GB of internal flash storage though it can be expanded with an SD card. Cutting down on internal space is one of the more common cost-saving measures to make a phone more 'affordable'.
Also seen on the website is Sony's SmartBand SWR10, a waterproof armband with LED indicators that syncs to your Android smartphone. No pricing or pre-registration details as yet as the armband was only just revealed at CES recently.
Will those initially hesitant to get the Z1 be more willing to go for a smaller version? We'll see.
