Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) launched its latest product range that is slated for 2019, bringing new technology from their R&D into our homes. They emphasized their commitment to develop not just 8k resolution TVs, but an 8k ecosystem that will imprint themselves into various fields. For example, the launch of the Sharp 8k camera for entertainment and broadcasting - and many more such as security, medical and education.
Speaking of TVs, two new series of AQUOS 4k UHDR models were launched - the AL1X and AH1X series. The AL1X is an Android TV that offers a wide range of apps available from Google Play and it comes in 70”, 60” and 50”. Meanwhile, the AH1X Easy Smart series is the world’s first Azan TV that merges smart features with a Muslim prayer time reminder built-in. It comes in 70”, 60”, 50” and 40”
Sharp has also announced their expansion into artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (termed AIoT by Sharp) and integrating it into their products under their COCORO+ line-up, like the FPJ80L air purifier that connects to the Internet and considers outdoor conditions to determine the optimal operation mode.
Other products that were also announced during the launch were the Ractive vacuum cleaner, Healsio steam oven and Healsio vacuum blender, as well as Plasmacluster hair dryer and Plasmacluster hair iron brush.
