If you’re a fan of variety, clap your hands and say yeah because the smartphone market just got a little bigger.
Japanese brand SHARP mobile has teamed up with distributor Commtiva Technology to make their phones available in Southeast Asia for the first time.
SHARP Z2: Power Packed
What makes the Z2 so special you ask? Well for starters, it’s a 2.3GHz deca-core smartphone with a MediaTek Helio X20 processor. This puts its performance amongst the ranks of the HTC One A9, Meizu MX6 and the LeEco Le 2 — making it a great device for toggling between work and gaming.
The 5.5in phone comes with 4GB RAM and dual-SIM capability and is powered by a 3000mAh battery that supports fast-charge technology, charging up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It’s also got a 16MP AF PDAF camera that shoots fast and sharp. The Z2 comes in Gold and Silver and retails at RM1199, making it great value for a mid-tier phone that’s both powerful yet sleek.
SHARP MS1: Selfie Ready
Get your game face on with the M1, SHARP mobile’s other offering that looks set to be every selfie-lover’s new BFF. It’s equipped with 13MP wide angle cameras on both the front and the rear, and comes with a back illuminated sensor that ensures razor sharp shooting even in low light conditions.
Designed with curved 3D Corning Gorilla glass, the 5.5in phone runs on MT6753 Cortex-A53 octa-core and features 3GB RAM. It also supports dual-SIM and up to microSD of up to 64GB. The M1 is outfitted in either Hanayome White or Pure Pink, and retails at RM899.
Both SHARP phones will be available from early November.
