Samsung has already been prepping the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, and might be showing them off at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) next year.
A little better
The devices have apparently been codenamed the Star 1 and Star 2, with no apparent changes to their design. No point fixing what ain't broke anyway since the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are such beauties, right?
What will change is the processor – with Samsung likely to feature a new Exynos chip as well as the Snapdragon 845 processor, depending on region. The S9 Plus will also likely feature a RAM bump to 6GB, more than the S9’s 4GB.
The phones will also be getting AKG stereo speakers and retain their 3.5mm headphone jack.
Following Samsung’s usual playbook, the phones will get a full reveal likely in March and start selling in April.
