Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Is Currently The Most "Affordable" Foldable Smartphone In Malaysia At RM5888

Pre-orders are now open too

We're getting our next wave of foldable smartphones in Malaysia now. After the price reveal of the Huawei Mate Xs, we now have the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip with a price that's still higher than average but still more affordable in comparison, retailing at RM5888.

The price was revealed on Samsung's official website, also revealing the fact that pre-orders are now available for the device until 22 March 2020. Based on the information available, you will need to input “ZFLIPVIP” at the point of purchase and then pre-order customers will receive the Samsung Galaxy Z Premier Service privilege which provides  24/7 Premium Careline, Priority or Express Lane at Samsung Service Centres and 12-month of On-Site Pick-Up and Delivery for services.

Customers will also get a  1-time inner screen replacement within 12-months after purchase. It doesn't reveal a date on when the device will officially be available though it states once an arranged date has been decided, the device will be delivered within five working days.

To recap on the Galaxy Z Flip, the device comes a foldable 6.7in FHD+ AMOLED display that, thanks to a sleek iridescent clamshell design, fits right into the palm of your hand. It's also the first foldable with a hole punch camera, which means you're getting an almost full screen. There's even a tiny OLED display on the front of the device so you can see notifications when the phone is snapped shut.

It even has Hideaway Hinge that allows the Z Flip to open at a range of angles, while Flex mode lets you split the display into two 4in screens, so you can watch videos on the top and control them on the bottom. Topping it all off with a dual-camera setup, 4K video capture, wireless fast charging and a dual battery system.
