You would be remiss to think that Samsung might ditch their tablets in favour of a folding smartphone that might finally see the light of day soon. But as parents of children under 5 would tell you, tablets still have a massive audience and Samsung is looking to provide another product in their Galaxy Tab line.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 had been leaked, thanks to Android Headlines, showing off a huge design change to the previous models, as well as an addition of a new S-Pen stylus. While it isn’t concrete, many reports are saying that the Galaxy Tab S6 will have a 10.5-inch display, as well as 6GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB storage options, will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.
The leaks also show how this new tablet will have a dual-camera setup, USB-C charging port, no 3.5 mm headphone jack surprisingly, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor. The included S-Pen is also sporting a new design, excluding the metal ring previous styluses had, and is magnetically stored on the tablet’s back. Presumably, the S-Pen will have wireless charging functionalities too.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will come in 3 colours, Blue, Grey, and Rose Gold. The S6 might also be introduced during Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10 launch, happening on the 7th of August.
